Library Card Sign Up Month--It's Always A Good Time To Get A Library Card

Although this article was first published to support Library Card Sign Up Month, remember that you can get a library card at any time in the year.  

September is Library Card Sign-up Month, a time when the Ashland Town library joins with the American Library Association and public libraries nationwide to make sure that every student has the most import school supply of all – a free library card. Studies show that children who are read to in the home and who use the library perform better in school.

Resources at the Ashland Town Library are available to anyone who has a library card. Library cards are free for residents and AES staff. The library is available to work directly with teachers to provide materials for students. 

Our library offers access to a variety of print and digital resources, including e-books, online databases, movies, audio books, inter-library loans, computers and WI-FI.
