2022 Winter Warrior Award Recipients

Congratulations to Annabelle McCord, Brandon Dame and Connor Dunton who were named Ashland Elementary School 2022 Winter Warrior Award recipients. These students were selected by their tier teachers because they are a positive force within our community.  Their attitude, effort and behavior make them role-models for all of our members. Warrior Award recipients consistently incorporate the AES Core Values of honesty, respect, integrity, caring, loyalty, citizenship, responsibility and fairness into their daily lives.

Annabelle’s Primary Tier Teachers describe her as a student who exemplified our school’s core values and who is a strong leader in the classroom.  She is a caring citizen who is always willing to help her peers.  Her enthusiasm for learning is admirable, however her perseverance and determination to learn are by far her best qualities.

Brandon was named the Intermediate Tier Warrior Award winner.  According to his teachers, he is an enthusiastic learner who puts tremendous effort into everything he does.  He is focused and driven as a student and as an athlete.  He faces challenges with a positive attitude and is always willing to try new things. Most importantly, he is an extremely responsible young man who incorporates and demonstrates the classroom expectations every day.

The Middle Tier selection for the Warrior Award is Connor Dunton.  Connor consistently demonstrates responsibility in all of his classes and is an active participant in the learning process.  He treats all members of the AES community with respect.  He cares about his classmates and his empathy for others is frequently acknowledged by his teachers.  He is a positive role model for younger students and a positive force in the community.

Congratulations to each of these Warrior Award winners.
