Congratulations Warrior Award Winners

Congratulations to Evan O’Leary, Janelle Comeau and Joseph D’Ambruoso who were named Ashland Elementary School Warrior Award recipients at a recent all-school morning meeting.  These students were selected by their tier teachers because they are a positive force within our community.  Their attitude, effort and behavior make them role-models for all of our members. Warrior Award recipients consistently incorporate the AES Core Values of honesty, respect, integrity, caring, loyalty, citizenship,
responsibility and fairness into their daily lives.

Evan’s teachers describe him as an honest and sincere friend who is helpful to his classmates.  He enjoys a challenge and preservers until he meets the high standards he has set for himself. His confidence has grown tremendously throughout the past few years and his teachers noted that he has matured into a very caring and responsible young man.

Janelle’s teachers describe her as the perfect candidate for the Warrior Award.   She is a hard worker who always gives her best.  She always has a smile on her face and a positive outlook.  She is a joy to teach and has a tremendous positive impact on the Intermediate Tier.

Joeseph D’Ambruoso has worked hard this year to be a leader in and out of the classroom.  His leadership style on any playing field has been noted for many years, but it is his desire to work for the benefit of others that has set him apart.  Joe has demonstrated his commitment to his community through his work with Student Council, the Winter Carnival Committee and Peer Tutor Program.  He is respectful of others during collaborative work, is a good listener and has excelled at putting ideas into action.

The Ashland Elementary School community is proud of all that these students have accomplished.
