2016 Halloween Parade a Great Success

During the annual Halloween Parade, Ashland Elementary students, staff and parents enjoyed an afternoon of trick or treating and spooky fun.   As the parade lined up at the elementary school, the air was filled with joy and laughter as students and staff alike showed off their costumes.  Community members and local business owners also joined the festivities by also wearing a wonderful selection of costumes.

Thanks to the following participating businesses, students collected lots of Halloween treats:

Village Grill, Elaine Hughes Realty, Farm Family Insurance, Common Man Restaurant, Lisa's Personal Training, Bob's Shurfine, Lucky Dragon, Fran’s Ceramics, Mountain Laurel, Ashland Library, Gamil’s, Highlites, Samyn D'Elia Architects, Daisy Laundry, Meredith Village Bank and the Ashland Town Office.  Special thanks to the staff at Meredith Village for coordinating the parade route as well as to the Ashland Police, Fire and  Highway departments who assisted with traffic control.
